Research Associate in Turbomachinery
I am a Mechanical Engineering researcher specialising in the fluid mechanics and thermodynamics of turbomachinery, used in power generation and aircraft propulsion.
My work at the Whittle Laboratory, University of Cambridge has included turbine film cooling, aeroacoustics, radial compressors, and transonic fans. I am developer of the turbigen open-source software for turbomachinery design. I am also a Fellow and Director of Studies at Fitzwilliam College, teaching Thermofluid Mechanics and Mathematical Methods.
