I am a Mechanical Engineering researcher specialising in the fluid mechanics and thermodynamics of turbomachinery, used in power generation and aircraft propulsion.

My work at the Whittle Laboratory, University of Cambridge has included turbine film cooling, aeroacoustics, and radial compressors. I am developer of the turbigen open-source software for turbomachinery design. I am also a Bye-Fellow at Fitzwilliam College, teaching Thermofluid Mechanics and Mathematical Methods.
